Slack is where work flows. It's where the people you need, the information you share, and the tools you use come together to get things done.

The integration of Slack into Thoropass will allow your organization to get notifications in slack when specific events occur in Thoropass.

Notifications can be configured for users to be alerted in Slack for required trainings and assigned tasks within Thoropass. The integration can alert when new people and vendors are discovered through other integrations and users can stay on top of comments, replies, and the audit process all without leaving Slack.

How to connect Thoropass to Slack:

1. In your Thoropass account, navigate to "Settings", then "Integrations", then "Slack"
2. Click on "New Connection"
3. Enter a name for the new connection
4. Then, give Thoropass permission to integrate with Slack
5. Click the “Launch Slack” button on the left to begin the integration process
6. Review the permissions and press “Allow” at the bottom of the page
7. After you’ve connected Thoropass as an application, you’ll be redirected back to this page to continue configuring your notifications.
8. You’ll be automatically be redirected back to the integration process once the account is authenticated.
9. Determine which Slack channel to send messages to. If the channel is private, add Thoropass to that channel before continuing to the next step
